As HR Specialist, we have decided to take a bold initiative to carryout a nationwide exercise to survey the remunerations/pay packages of the Ghanaian worker. We believe this would serve as a benchmark for government and companies to stamp out the excessive time spent on strike actions by workers in search of better remunerations, consequently affecting the economic output and economy as a whole.
Another reason is to put together a reference document that can be used to benchmark industry during recruitments, agitations and labour disputes. |
